Assure thoughtful, fair, balanced, and accurate exchange of current medical information related to products and relevant disease state. Provide innovative and strategic educational and scientific support as needed.

Establish and develop professional relationships, effectively communicate current scientific knowledge with key opinion leaders to expand research, advisory, and educational partnership opportunities.

Serve as a key, field-based scientific resource for healthcare providers, patients, and industry partners. Provide field-based scientific support for preclinical and clinical research. Identify potential study sites and offer guidance in subject recruitment.

Prepare presentations of clinical and scientific data to respond to inquiries related to study indications and therapeutic areas, or for internal and external company staff members, advisory board members, committee members, medical directors, and other key decision-makers.

Recruit scientific advisory board members to ensure a thoughtful exchange of ideas and information related to products.

Communicate and coordinate scientific opportunities with other field-based and internal colleagues.

Serve as a scientific resource at key professional and scientific conferences to ensure that your company is current with all relevant clinical and scientific data. Represent your company through attendance at board meetings, clinical investigator meetings, and patient advocacy group meetings, and participation on advisory boards.

Study current literature to provide a relevant review of the scientific data to support medical information and scientific seminars/meetings.

Develop and manage a primary clinical database through the use of abstracts, posters, oral presentations, and primary manuscripts to ensure the effective, accurate communication of important scientific and clinical information.

Facilitate publication of company-sponsored study results. Respond to inquiries (professional, scientific journalistic) with available and relevant information, including reprints or posters, medical letters, literature citations.

Identify and analyze evidence gaps and research needs and create opportunities to fill those gaps through collaborative efforts with company teams and national/international investigators or cooperative groups.

Provide ongoing clinical support and guidance to sales, marketing, and national accounts and international distributors' team members. Provide support for medical marketing activities, pre- and post-sale presentations/training.
